Dear Shaded Viewers,
Thanks to the British Fashion Council, my driver Bob came by the Mayfair hotel this morning and took me to the Richard Nicoll show. It’s fairly rare in fashion that everyone seems enthusiastic over a collection but that enthusiastic reception went to Richard Nicoll today.
OUtside Richard Nicoll’s with Maria Luisa’s team and not sure who these guys in multi colored t-shirts are, but great smiles.
After the show Bob dropped me off to meet my friend Mei Hui aka Victim, for breakfast at Wolseley’s
I went to pick up the September issue of Italian Vogue because my friend Miguel Villalobos told me there was a write up on A Shaded View on Fashion Film festival in the September issue and then I ran off to the House of Holland show. I was too early so off for a tea where I ran into Numero’s Philip Utz, who showed me his beautiful tanned legs. Actually I told him I was a bit surprised to see him wearing trainers.
House of Holland
The big news here is that House of Holland collaboration with 501 Jeans. Also, handsome Henry Holland is going to have his own tv show starting October 4th.
House of Holland
Yu and his JIl Sander sandals.
Not sure who the beautiful woman in te blue tights is dressed in the current collection of Basso & Brooke, but the paparazzi went wild for her and could not stop flashing.
Basso & Brooke
Basso & Brooke showed an upbeat, Japanese inspired collection with great hair ornaments by the iconic Stephen Jones. BTW I passed by Dover Street market today to enjoy his new fragrance.
Maria Luisa’s team waiting for the Nathan Jenden show to start
The last show of the day was by the lovely Roksanda Ilincic
Later,
Diane
