Miguel Adrover made a comeback to the New York Fashion Week last Sunday with “Hidden in Natur”. He presented an art installation for Hessnatur at the Matthew Marks Gallery showing a highly creative women’s collection about sustainable production practices. I would describe the exhibition as “fashion meets art”.

The line was displayed in 7 wooden statues and silhouettes made of Moroccan wood of jungle women, trees and wild animals such as a flamingo or a bird standing in pools of water and moss dunes. The peices were made out of organic and natural fabrics as merino wool, silk, alpaca, linen and cotton. Organic and natural fabrics played with textures and design giving shape to artistic woven dresses.

Kisses from NYC
