On one of my trips to Stockholm a few years ago I met Ben Gorham. I was there as a jury member for +46 and the ex-Basketball player turned perfumer, was my personal guide. Berns, the old world hotel where I was staying was kitted out with all of his Swedish fragrance/home ammenities line which were quite exotic and included a black soap, a lovely body lotion and a shampoo and conditioner. He calls his products “alternative fragrances for the modern mind.”
