Above is the view from my window around 5h30 this morning when I arrived at the hotel.

Later we were invited to a lovely Italian lunch at the Shopping Iguatemi with the two producers of Iguatemi filmefashion festival, Pedro Igor and Beto Amaral. We are still looking forward to meeting Alexandra Farah, the curator of the festival. After lunch we went to see the preparations for the event. The space is beyond amazing and they expect around 12,000 invited guests to their event.

This was funny, we were walking down the street when our eyes focused on the Melissa shoe store. Melissa makes amazing plastic shoes and the display of the shop was very this century. We walked in and in the back there was a cactus garden. I could not resist the Alice in Wonderland atmosphere.

When we left the shop and were walking a little further down the street I received a big hello from Eduardo Jordao de Magalhaes who was surprised to find me in Sao Paulo. He asked me if I wanted to show him the Melissa shoes which I really liked. Of course, I could not resist so while Dino and Rigo went off looking for clothes as Dino’s luggage never arrived…I went shoe shopping.
