Dear Shaded Viewers,

Fashion designer Marion Vidal creates glossy and mat enameled ceramic pearls, her necklaces are asymmetrically knotted and intertwined with ribbon and finished with brass hooks.

The criss-crossing of spatial, cultural and fashion influences evident in her work are drawn from both her architectural training in Paris and Milan and her studies in the fashion section of the Royal Academie of Antwerp where she obtained her degree in 2003. She now lives and designs from Paris where she launched her collection in 2006.

The asymmetry, the choice of colors and shapes, and their association, the size and lightness of her pieces and the stories she draws her inspiration from, all contribute to the strength and beauty of Marion Vidal’s confident and innovative jewellery designs.
