Dear Shaded Viewers:
Today, a few hours after arrive to Barcelona I went to Bielsa, to ten km of the border between France and Spain. The carnival consists of several typical and genuine prominent figures of the village and it’s related to the pagan celebrations for the spring equinox.
The masculine figure is the "tranga" who represents the virility and the force of the macho entrusted to fertilize the female. They chase the girls to "fertilize" them.
Young boys and their balls.
And the "onsos" who scare the people.
