I’ll post more about my days in Lecce but I have to tell you that Brindisi airport was amazing , I mean I was controlled 4 times. I got through the electronic device once with the discussion with all the security people. Sat down was reading my book when a customs official came over and took me into a room, another control, then I went back to sit in the waiting room. Five minutes later the same officer came over and took me into another room. I came back out thought that this was finally over when one more official came over took me into yet another room, unpacked the explosives detector and started doing another check on my hair and then put that exray into a computer which finally satisfied them and then I could board the plane…..Aside from that the trip was brillant. I ate too much and feel a bit on the round side. Met great people and fell in love with the town. I had the pleasure of visiting the unbelievably beautiful home of Ennio and Carlo Capasa, hardly took any images but will post them later. Lecce is all about minimal baroque.

More later, Diane

Thank you Anina.net 360 fashion for my new nokia n73, image quality is pretty good, don’t you think? Still cannot get the e mail to function but…
