Dear Shaded Viewers,

I wish that I could post images from the dinner last night given in my honor by Cameron Silver (Decades) and Jeff Snyder. I will when I am back to Paris. It was the warmest welcome to LA one could dream of. I saw friends of mine that I had not seen for decades like Steve Olson, skate board icon turned artist, David Norbury, Roberta Wagner and friends from Paris and NYC-Richard Buckley, Tim Blanks, Jeremy Scott, Brian Leitch, Brian Beker and more. I got to meet Booth from the LA TImes and her charming husband, I could not wipe the smile off of my face.

Dino and I are spending our night at HKM studios with Aaron Morris putting together the DVD’s for the festival tomorrow. A huge thank you to Ned Brown for making this all possible and Aaron for spending his night with us. A huge thank you to Kelly Cutrone – People’s Revolution, for going above and beyond any call of duty imaginable to make our launch possible. Showstudio.com will blog the event tomorrow night.

Before coming to HKM studios, Dino and I had l5 minutes to kill and he took me around the corner to the only remaining hustler bar in LA for a drink. I must admit it was the first time for me to be in a hustler bar. Painless and kind of entertaining. Another prominent landmark here is the huge Scientology building on Blvd. Ron Hubbard.

Later,

Diane
