In the striking Debenham’s House in Holland Park last evening, Stephen Jones celebrating 25 glorious years of hatmaking.  The gardens were full of charm and guests mostly kept to the simple edict of "hats & flowers".  Lovely as ever, Jones had an entire battalion of fun paper and foil hats on hand that his studio had crafted for those who had dared to turn up bare headed.

These adorable ladies were eye candy enough but I must admit I got stuck in a bottleneck between a few of the gardens and missed getting some of the biggest stunners like Lara Bohinc, Hannah Bhuiya, Erin O’Conner, Jade Parfitt…. Sorreeeey!

This was only an hour into the fete… jam packed already.  And only one of gardens betwen the labyrinth of rooms and marquees.

The kids from SuperSuper.  I think her hat was on Basso & Brooke’s show – a S.J. creation.  The reflection in the inside of the brim looks surreal, eh?  A portable Dali effect.
