Dear Shaded Viewers,
An old friend of mine, Robert Molnar, from New York is in town to present his men’s wear collection at Tranoi starting tomorrow. We met at Andre’s new hotel/resto, hotel Amour. Super pleasant in the garden and I highly recommend a visit. Along with Stephen Sprouse, Isabelle Toledo, Andre Walker and Norbury and Osuna we were all the ‘star’ designers in NYC in the 80’s. Robert gave the look to his best friends, the B-52’s. This was the time of the Mudd Club, Save the Robots, the Roxy, the Paradise Garage where Keith Haring liked to host great parties on the roof top. Ancient history now but fun memories.
It’s the first day of Paris men’s week so I will leave you for now.
