Here are a few more images from 6festival in Vienna this past week.
Last month I was on the jury when Tobias Bodio won the So Fresh jewellery award by Pierre Lang
I was on Anna Aichinger’s jury as well when she was studying at the University under Raf Simons and this weekend she won an award. Since all was in German I’m not sure if her High Heels High Morals collection won the City of Vienna Award or the Unit F Award. Her collection was inspired by Alfred Hitchock 50’s films,think Kim Novack and Tippie Hedron. Anna is quite a bomb shell herself. She only designs clothes that she would wear herself which I consider a good point of departure.
Ajla Karic was an award winner for his men’s collection. He won the Kontakt, Fashion Award by Erste Bank.
LOndon based Marios Schwab showed his cocktail dress collection embellished by his signature sculpted metal details.
Peter Piloto received a prize for his fantasy trip back to his roots.
Edwina Hori is an Austrian designer that has been living in Japan for more than decade.
Petar Petrov showed both men’s and women’s.
The House of the Very Islands royal club….put on the strongest show.
