Here are a few images from the www.antwerp-fashion.be show. I am missing some that I would love to show you, but all my pics were not stellar.
As you know, Antwerp is famous for it’s diamond district.
First year students work on the evolution of l piece, pictured above is the exercise with the skirt. The second year students work on historical costumes which helps them to understand the history of constructions and I’m always quite taken by the results.
Third year are ethnic costumes, I already told you yesterday about the collection of Spanish designer Andrea Anala Closa and her Slavonia, Croatia – re-drawn to understand collection of bearded ladies.
