2005X10 today at the Louvre

Dear Shaded Viewers,

As part of the Made in France by Fatex exhibit at the Louvre today, ten of the IFM post graduate students put their prototypes on display.

Above is the work of Polly Dawson who just started an internship with JP Gaultier and next to his work is Nikola Vasari who is waiting to hear about his internship with John Galliano at Dior. Unfortunately you can not see the amazing shoes and gloves designed by the students. IFM students have the opportunity to produce their prototypes with the manufacturers for Chanel, Louis Vuitton…

Above Franc’ Pairon, the Director of IFM post graduate cycle on the phone and while I was there Kanya Miki, an award winning graduate of the Royal Academy at Antwerp,  passed by to visit the Made in France exhibit  in order to check out the production possibilies in France. Kanya has been living in Paris for the past two years producing a very interesting men’s wear collection. Someone to keep your eye on.

Later, Diane
