Chanel sent out the best of the couture collections followed by Dior with his bloody revolution performance, he of course, was swashbuckling  on the runway. You won’t find any photos here but take a look at Style.com and see what you think. I was not at Gaultier but the whisper was that there were a few beautiful pieces but it was far from stellar. The young designers were not terribly inspired either. They keep saying that the couture is not dying, if it is not dying, what is it doing?  In it’s purest state couture is supposed to be a laboratory of ideas. I saw some, but not too many.
