Dear Shaded Viewers,
Every spring in the South of France, the ‘Festival International de Mode and of Photography in Hyeres spotlights young promising artists in the fields of fashion and photography. The festival proposes a competition, diverse exhibitions, and professional panel discussions. The competition reunites 10 fashion designers and 10 photographers selected by a jury of professionals. The work of the chosen candidates is presented in fashion shows and group exhibitions, after which different prizes are awarded.
This festival functions as a launch pad for fashion designers and photographers alike. In the past designers and photographers that have participated in the festival include: Victor & Rolf, Gaspard Yurkievich, Christian Wijnants, Lutz, Romain Kremer, and for photography: Solve Sundsbo, Cedric Buchet, Anuschka Bloomers & Niels Schumm, Luciana Val & Franco Musso…
