Nana Omi and Bruno Hadjadj at the furniture expo at Bon Marche – this is a funny picture because in the first shot, his assistant, Nana’s eyes were closed so that is why his are wide open.

I met Bruno with Mark Eley of Eley Kishimoto at the Bon Marche last month  for the illustrators cocktail party. Tonight we were both there for the Objets de Conversation expo. He is multidisciplinary, a filmmaker, an artist and he is opening a shop called Spree at 1 rue St. Simon in the 75007 on Saturday.Anina and I went to visit the unfinished space after a short passage at the St. Pere gallery for the Ophelie Asch Gens de pluie expo. I preferred the space to the photographs but Anina and Nana loved the images. I also preferred the sketches in pencil and gold paint that animate the walls of Spree painted by the owner and creative director, Bruno Hadjadj, to the work at St. Pere. Currently there is a ‘wood stories’ expo at Spree’s Monmartre shop by Bruno. The original Spree shop is located at 16 rue lavieuville 75018, metro abbesses.
