NYFF: “O Brother, Where Art Thou ?” 15th Anniversary Screening (September 29)

The second film that I saw on Tuesday night was the special event 15th anniversary screening of the Coen Brothers film "O Brother, Where Art Thou ?".

I assume that most people have seen it but, it's a story loosely based on Homer's "The Odyssey".

I hadn't seen "O Brother, Where Art Thou ?" in a long time – and tonight only confirmed to me how much I liked the film.

The performances by George Clooney, John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson are all terrific and the music is really great.

After the screening, the directors/producers Joel & Ethan Coen, Actors George Clooney, John Turturro, Tim Blake Nelson and director of photography Roger Deakins were all onhand for a discussion and Q&A session with the audience.

It was a fun night !
