Amy Glenn

Dear Shaded Viewers, Diane,

I went tonight to the some/things gallery, where Amy Glenn explained to me the creative process of her new line A147G. She began fully dedicating herself to it one year ago, from when she remembers meeting Diane.

Bagues

The jewelery pieces introduce a duality that is also found in her clothes, between what is earthy and what is man-made or foreign. Materials such as onyx and horn are opposed to pewter and meteoritic fragments, in two versions of similar rings.

Tons

All of Amy's clothes are handmade, and the way she uses pigments, she doesn't work with colors but injects into her clothes an earthy element that she then lets settle while drying in the sun.

Devant

On top of these unique, natural patterns, she paints by hand a solid black one in the back. It passes through the thin fabric and appears, diluted, on the front.
The wearer of her shirt displays this convergence of organic and human influences.
