Dear Shaded Viewers,
I landed at Istanbul Airport a couple of hours ago and was greeted by a smiling young man. He escorted me to my car and a rather long drive took place before we reached the Edition hotel where I will be staying until Saturday morning. Hospitality mogul Ian Schrager teamed up with Marriott International to create a new, polished hotel concept where everything is there to make you feel at ease. The subdued lights, cozy furniture and soothing music are just what you need after a long journey.
I haven't sampled the bed yet, but it looks great. Sweet dreams guaranteed…
The opening party will start soon and I have just enough time to run a nice, hot bath before getting changed. Now, we all know our lovely DP is a bath fanatic, so here's a preview just for her.
