I met Maria de Medeiros today for a photo shoot for the May issue of ZOO.
After the shoot I went to see Guy Maddin’s film The Saddest Music in the World starring Maria and Isabella Rossellini. It is a musical set in Winnipeg during the Great Depression where a beer baroness missing her legs organizes a contest to find the saddest music in the world. If it is playing around you go see it, if not, buy the DVD.
