While I was putting together my first collection i While I was putting together my first collection in New York I had collected antique clothes. Most either Victorian or 1930's all with hand work. I was open only 3 days a week from 1-5, rather limited hours but I wanted sales to help support my collection but did not want that to take too much of my time away from creating. I took this ad out and one of my first clients for this dress in black was Holly Woodlawn. That was a story in itself. Also it brought me a beautiful woman, Jan, #newyork #fashion whose husband wanted to back me with a store. It never happened but was fun for a while looking for real estate on the upper east side. In the end his accountant advised him against it and honestly it was too soon I did not know anything about the business.

Seven days ago I made my first entries in the subs Seven days ago I made my first entries in the substack I opened a few years ago. It will be similar to my blog with the exception of my non- linear autobiography which is behind a paywall. One photo, one story, no timeline just fragments of my life. This week I made entries everyday so there already is an archive ..from now on my memoir entries will come out once a week on Tuesdays.
