Seven days ago I made my first entries in the subs Seven days ago I made my first entries in the substack I opened a few years ago. It will be similar to my blog with the exception of my non- linear autobiography which is behind a paywall. One photo, one story, no timeline just fragments of my life. This week I made entries everyday so there already is an archive ..from now on my memoir entries will come out once a week on Tuesdays. July 2013 Rad Hourani held a couture show in Paris July 2013 Rad Hourani held a couture show in Paris and asked me if I would come early to his couture show as the director @larryclarkofficial asked to have a few people in advance of his shoot. @lilytempleton @t.g.therealtonyglenville were also there. The film stars pete Doherty and the film was produced by @pierrepaulpuljiz. I had always admired the films of @larryclarkofficial , not this particular film however. The highlight was definitely meeting @michael__pitt who was a trainee on the film as he wanted to be a director. I asked him if I could take his photo and he said let's take it together. Like I said the film wasn't great but the experience absolutely was.#michaelpitt #cinema #larryclark #radhourani My appearences as an extra in films is limited but always great directors like Robert Altman, Larry Clark, Roman Polanski, Harmony Korin, that was for the Lost Tape for Balenciaga and Ben Stiller.

1999 Ninth Gate by Roman Polanski #cinema #romanpo 1999 Ninth Gate by Roman Polanski #cinema #romanpolanski #myminicareerincinema A long time ago I was walking by a tea room in my hood when a casting director asked me to take a polaroid so she could show it to Polanski for an extra part. The part- last couple arriving at a black mass. funnily it was the exact same location Robert Altman's Pret-a-Porter took place, the Rothschild Villa otherwise known as the Chateau de Ferrieres. I had told the casting director not to try and convince Polanski but if he wanted me it was as I am I don t change my look, I did accept to wear high heels instead of platform shoes however. That was 1994. Once again I had the opportunity to work with one of the best cinematographers on the planet, Darius Khondji. The other great was Henri Alekan, he had worked with Jean Cocteau on la belle et la bete and Wim Wenders on Wings of Desire, neither of which I was working on. My experience was with Amos Gitae on Golem l Esprit d'Exile where i was the 6 th and last costume designer and Alekan was the cinematographer #cinema #polanski on the film. @johnnydepp @emmanuelleseigner were the principal actors.
