Each collaboration is an exchange of ideas, references and disciplines, resulting in objects that are considered, intentional and enduring.” – Thao Phuong, founder of TextileSeekers CHAPTER 03: In Their Hands TextileSeekers unveils: ❒ Object 23 – for the third edition of Objects by TextileSeekers, Thao Phuong invited Nick Tran to develop a collectible object exploring ritual, functionality and sculptural form. The result is a limited-edition lacquer box set composed of modular compartments that can be used individually to hold jewelry, incense or personal keepsakes, or stacked together to form a single sculptural volume. 𓎟 Object 24 – a lacquer bowl created especially for the Paris presentation and available only during the exhibition. 🪮 Collection 04 – Adornment, the latest chapter in its own evolving design collection. The new series expands the studio’s ongoing exploration of adornment through a collection of sculptural, hand-carved combs. Brett collaborated with publisher @marvinjarrett to create a music inspired collection including pj's inspiration @kurtcobain and i fell in love with the vampire rabbit reminded me of one of my favorite films from 2001, Donnie Darko @doverstreetmarketparis
@georgeinaki @milamorejewelry catching up with my @georgeinaki @milamorejewelry catching up with my friend George who in addition to his @milamorejewelry line he creates one of a kind shirts out of vintage kimonos. Both being born undercthe sign of libra we had a few laggs. I loved it when he said he was a bit full of himself but humble..I am still trying to figure out howcthat is possible. The idea of his line is based on #kintsugi joining with gold it is a centuries old Japanese repair technique which uses urushi dusted with powdered gold usually to restore broken ceramic and porcelain vessels.
