Dear Shaded Viewers,
After several seasons working on hybrid projects and more intimate collections, Francisco Terra marks fifteen years of creation with an anniversary show directed by Manon Savary and Marc Zaffuto, a kind of debutante ball, featuring silhouettes shaped throughout his artistic journey.
The collection is a dreamlike reimagining of his youth in Brazil, told as a gothic fairytale. “We follow the evening of a young person coming home from school, getting ready for an extraordinary party,” says Francisco. “They roll around in jogging clothes, tangled in their sheets, surrounded by letters and drawings from their diary, before setting off on a motorcycle to Paris, where they’re greeted by rats and cool kids.”
This show continues the spirit of Maldito, a project where clothing, manga, and objects coexist in a complete artistic universe.

Pedro Guez
