Cem Cinar: Blooming Traditions in Modern Fashion

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Cem Cinar blends his cultural heritage with cutting-edge techniques. His latest Fall/Winter 2025 collection is a testament to his unique vision and multicultural background.

At the heart of Cinar’s new collection lies the tulip, a flower that beautifully symbolizes the designer’s dual heritage – a bridge between the Netherlands, where he grew up, and Turkey, his birthplace. This floral motif shows up in hand-crocheted and embroidered details on knitwear and accessories, as well as in graphic prints .

After studying Visual Arts at ARTEZ in Arnhem, Cem Cinar pursued Fashion Design at ESMOD in Paris, honing his skills through internships at Rick Owens. His professional trajectory includes a five-year stint at Y/PROJECT and a role as creative director for LARUICCI, where he launched their clothing collections.
