Dear Shaded Viewers,
It was an evening to celebrate Yann Romain–the former photographer and hat designer, showcasing his work at his friends shop, famous hatmaker, Anthony Peto. During the opening night, Hippolyte Romain, famous artist and writer, was present to sign his new book titled, “Fashion Week.” The book is a notebook of memories of the
world of fashion, of the sparkling and festive Paris, and illustrated by his own drawings.
Yann Romain a lover of hats and an avid collector, he has always loved hats–felt hats, melons, top hats or deformed gibus, his passion originated from his travels and his interest in the avant-garde. Yann draws his inspiration from the American movies of the 30’s and his illustrations along with his creations in collaboration with Peto will be on display starting from September 22 through October 8th, 2022 at 56 rue Tiquetonne 75002 Paris.
