Vaquera NYC was founded in 2013 and showed in Paris for the first time during Paris Fashion Week. Since September 2020, they are one of the brands under the Dover Street Market Paris umbrella. In 2017 they were finalists for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. The current collection is about love, their love for New York, their love for Paris and their desire to move to Paris. Some of the pieces are transformable like the oversized scrunchie which turns into a couture inspired piece, there are oversized slips, and pieces in eyelash fabric which grows as you wear it.
