Before leaving Berlin I could not resist visiting the handcrafted in Berlin, avant-garde eyewear label Mykita. Of course I’ve known about Mykita for years. MYKITA uses next-level technologies to create glasses that are strong and lightweight. The MYKITA brand is manufactured onsite at the label’s Berlin HQ and Bikini Hotel, where I was staying, happens to be next door to the shop which made it fairly easy to jump over there before taking the Mercedes Benz back to the airport. I tried on the frames and you can barely feel them and the arms are very flexible. The manager of the shop talks us through the brand, click the video above to learn more.
