Dear Shaded Viewers,
I went to the opening last night to see the work of my friend Stephan Breuer and to discover the other 12 artists. The exhibition Immaterialite brings together 13 artists both French and International who share an interest for the questions lying on the border of science and art: space-time, natural and cosmic phenomena, laws of physics and of mechanics. I had a chance to speak with two of the artists and the curator, videos attached here. The works seek to make tangible what escapes human vision, through photography: Thomas Devaux, Liz Deschenes, Martin d’Orgeval, sound installation: Charlotte Charbonnel, video projection: Pascal Haudressy, neon: Jan Van Munster, electrokinetic mobiles: Elias Crespin, sculpture: Caroline Corbasson, Vera Rohm, painting: Guillaume Millet as well as unpublished techniques: Adam Belt, interviewed here, Jean-Baptiste Caron, and Stephan Breuer, interviewed here. Also please enjoy Domitille d’Orgeval, the curator.
Later,
Diane
