DaDa Girl – Marie Beltrami at AlfaLibra/Gallery January 30 – March 9th

Dear Shaded Viewers,

The Alfalibra Gallery hosts a solo show around the universe of Marie Beltrami. On view will be the surrealist universe of Beltrami including her drawings, her accessories, sculptures, photographs and installations. How would you define the pink haired diva? She walks somewhere between the erotic and the romantic. She started out as a young nurse, became a seamstress, a stylist, an actress…She has collaborated with Paloma Picasso, Gerard Darouste, David Hamilton and Jean-Paul Goude working as a stylist for advertisements. She also worked with Dominique Issermann, Etienne Chatilliez, Bettina Rheims and Richard Avedon. Her accessories are exposed at MAD and the Vuitton space at Saint-Germain-des-Pres.
