I just came back from Georgia, a country thanks to Sofia Tchkonia, I discovered about 12 years ago when she created Art Georgia and brought Georgian designers to Paris. At that time Guram Gvasalia was present as an author. I’d met Demna Gvasalia in 2006 at the Royal Academy of Antwerp where I was on his jury. Back to Sofia, she has been the great force in the developing fashion market in a country which has grown enormously in the past 12 years.
