Emmanuel Boos will exhibit his first creations made during his residence at the Manufacture de Sevres. Through his sensual glazes he creates a poetic sense of desire. Working with a mineral powder, the final result is always a bit of a surprise. Emmanuel Boos explores the materials and the physical and chemical phenomena at work in the ceramic process. Boos seeks to maintain a playful relationship with the medium, in love with chaos. In true spirit he looks forward to accidents in the process of creation. In fact, he welcomes the loss of control while observing the sensual, poetic and erotic dimension of the material that justifies his obsession: colors, sagging, changes in the colors or texture, also surface surprises like holes and slits of the enamel.
