Chicks on Speed

Dear Shaded Viewers,

ARTSTRAVAGANZA is an artformance designed for the finnissage of Karl Lagerfeld’s

exhibition “Modemethode”, Bundeskunsthalle Bonn. Collaborators who took the stage included Kroot Juurak, Haus of Chang and Abidjan pop star / DJ Shaggy Sharoof with local students from 

The Academy of Media and Fine Arts, Cologne.

The performance presented a series of musical chapters, each with it’s own OBJECTINSTRUMENT (self-made musical instrument) and hacked fashion, like the computational sounding shoes and matching garments, dance styles, props and mediated environments that all make up the bigger GESAMTKUNSTWERK art band experience that is Chicks on Speed today.
