I'm making my first blog entry here and I think it's best used to introduce myself.
My name is Steve. I live and work in New York City. I do work in the entertainment business industry but, I like to attend lots of different events in town. Some are related to my work but, most are not associated with what I do.
Over the past few years, I've managed to make it out to approx. 225 to 250 events per year.
This year, already I've made it out to about 170 events.
Without drifting too far backwards and blogging about those past events, I'm going to blog about the most recent events that I've attended and start blogging as I attend events going forward. Some blog entries and events will be uninteresting to readers but, I hope to find at least one person out there that is amused.
Now, I'm not really a "blogger". As my friends have mentioned, I'll post photos of events I go to (I have posted over 100,000 photos on FaceBook and 1,300 photos on Instagram in the past eight years) but, I never really comment as to whether the event (be it film, concert. theatre performance or whatever) was good or not. That's not really my thing. I generally like everything I go to – and there's a reason why I went. I'm not really someone who blogs to be snarky or bitchy. So, the majority of the blog entries that I do will be fairly short, telling you where I went, who or what I saw – and ideally posting a photo of the event.
I'll be a mininalist blogger.
