SEOUL FASHION WEEK – ENZUVAN FALL WINTER 2014/15 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Leave it to Korean designer Hong Eun Ju to come up with the most unusual fabric and texture combinations. Her last Enzuvan show -a highlight of Seoul's womenswear calendar- was a clever fusion of sportswear and formal cuts, emphasizing the comfort factor, which can be found within her pieces. With lots of oversize shapes and plush materials -such as velvet, faux fur or soft wool- she offered great separates for everyday, from cozy coats and relaxed bomber jackets to soft dresses and drop crotch pants. If her style is undeniably Korean, there's also a slight Japanese flair in her clothes, distinguishing her approach from others.

Best,

Philippe
