Dear Diane, Dear Shaded Viewers,
Over 150 guests in including actresses Marisa Tomei, Jena Malone, Michaela Conlin and model Erin Wasson along with fashion designers Katy Rodriguez, Sophie Buhai (Vena Cava), Clayton & Flavie Webster (Cerre) and True Blood costume designer Audrey Fisher celebrated the 10 year anniversary and new Melrose location of Los Angeles vintage retailer SCOUT with its founder Joey Grana.
Following Scout L.A's original location on West Third Street in 2003, to several years in the heart of Hollywood, the serene atmosphere of the new Melrose space created by interior decorator Annalise Mazonas and architect Richard Chapman perfectly showcases Scout L.A. founder Joey Grana's passion for vintage as well as keen eye for the contemporary.
Specializing in 70s-90s vintage with an easy elegance (from Alaia to Issey Miyake), Scout L.A.'s dedicated clientele ranges from musicians to socialites and stylists to celebrities. Designers including Isabel Marant, Kelly Wearstler, and Kenzo/Opening Ceremony's Humberto Leon regularly seek out Scout L.A for its "pre-trend" avant-garde meets California cool aesthetic.
Grana's lovely home with his partner Gerard Dislaire was also recently featured on the Apartment Therapy site "Joey & Gerard's France Meets California Mountain Cottage."
