FILM SYNOPSIS:
Fashion designer Miguel Adrover – eccentric, visionary, freethinker. This is the story of a Majorcan farmer's son, who left his homeland to conquer the Big Apple's fashion scene. All at once, Adrover was the dreamlike embodiment of the American success story. The decline that followed, was just rapid. In a trice, the highly respected fashion designer found himself again with nothing! This documentary follows Miguel Adrover, former enfant terrible of New York's fashion scene, somewhere between yesterday and today, recognition and trauma.
DIRECTOR'S BIO:
Munich native Regine Lettner worked for a year in the editorial department of a travel magazine before turning to film. Following a two-year stint in a TV production company, she enrolled in the documentary film department at the University of Television and Film in Munich. "Call it a Balance in the Unbalance" in her graduation film and first feature length documentary.
