Dear Diane, dear
shaded viewers the title of the exhibition "Passavamo sulla terra leggeri"
refers to the book of the Sardinian writer Sergio Atzeni, a fictionalized story
of Sardinia from its origins .
There are a lot
of reasons why I loved this exhibition, the most definite one is the familiar
feeling ( I was born in Sardinia) with
the handcrafted carpets made in the Sardinian tradition of the frame. And of course, Antonio Marras'a drawings and all the furniture that was created from his designs as was the wallpaper. All will be a part of his home collection.
Antonio Marras connects his artistic
side with the craftsmanship. TIme does not fade the tradition but rather has value in a new expression, "the strong" continues to survive, like a symbol that
represent the past.
