Dear Shaded Viewers,
McDermott and McGough have never let the era they’re living in define their artistic expression. Drawn towards the melodrama and narrative nature of cinema and comic books in the 1940’s through 1960’s, In Dreams You’re Mine examines the human condition through graphic paintings and wooden sculptures.

What appear, even upon close inspection, to be old cardboard boxes filled with comic books; are actually meticulously hand carved wooden sculptures.
The exhibition is open until 23rd January 2013.
