"the serie "how blue was bad and yellow good", is the most recent story of the young dutch artist dennis vanderbroeck. this story is a research on colour and shape, and ode. it is about the clash between the internal universe and external universe, about hiding your true identity, covering youreself, blow it up or dissapear into the background. the title refers to the kidney affliction, called minimal change, vanderbroeck had from his 5th till recent. vanderbroeck his images are clean, minimalistic and primitive and with this childish way of approaching it he tries to create a universe without boundries, a place where anything can happen. without the help of digital techniques he works totally autonomous, from creating the costumes til the point of making the shots.
