Dear Diane and dear Shaded Viewers,
Alongside the graduation show of the Antwerp Fashion Department, NU_Fashion #1 opens in the Red Fish Factory in Antwerp in collaboration with Flanders Fashion Institute and Belgian fashion journalist Veerle Windels.
The idea: the Antwerp Fashion Department counts numerous alumni who themsleves teach fashion to young future designers. Anke Loh is professor in Chicago, Marina Yee in Ghent, Ellen Monstrey in Sint-Niklaas, Eric Verdonck and Jurgi Persoons in The Hague, Christoph Broich regularly gives guest lectures to fashion students from Kobe, Patrick De Muynck is head of the design department at Polimoda in Firenze… and so on. They, as well as their students were asked for their vision on the theme 'identity'.
NU_Fashion #1 runs from June 7th until 10th, daily from 12PM – 7PM (free access).
