Below are some of my favorite looks. I wish you were here for this Diane!

The brilliant design duo of A.F. Vandevorst does it again. I'm obsessed with this look! The oversized vented hat is a must. I can see a smart Hollywood beauty wearing this long green silk vest dress on its own to a red carpet event.
Edith Palm is a collection by Los Angeles-based designer Sarah Aaronson that is all made-to-measure. Absolutely exquisite fabrics and tailoring. The beauty is in the details.
Chilean designer Barbara Briones is making me want to wear flats, though her heels are also fantastic! Who can resist big blue eyes staring up at them?
25 year old Canadian turned Angeleno Stacey Clark was the only Los Angeles womenswear designer chosen by Jenne Lombardo to show with Milk-Made for Fall 12 New York Fashion Week. Odilon's Fall 12 collection is inspired by David Lynch's "Twin Peaks."
Model turned-DJ-turned designer Mandy Coon (who apprenticed with Camilla Staerk before launching her own collection in 2010) was inspired for Fall 12 by amongst other things, a bat she encountered on a trip to Nicaragua.
This snake ring by Kathryn Bentley is a beauty. Her collection is handmade in New York and LA. This ring is 14k gold with hand-inlaid enamel and hand-set black and white diamonds.
Dominic Louis impressed with an artful installation at The Bowery hotel during NY Fashion Week. Lenny Kravitz has taken home a few pieces recently. I am excited to see more of the collection up close this week.
And what is LA without a celebration of finely made denim? THVM continues to evolve their Los Angeles designed and made men's and women's offerings into Fall 12.
