Dear Shaded Viewers and Diane,

Sonia Boyajian's collection for fall 2012 glows with a gentle, honeyed freshness, balanced on delicate golden wavelets in tiny sprouts of innocent gems, translucent and ravishing in their braided orbits. Inspired by the secret treasures to be found in every garden, Sonia's designs feature wood and dried leaves and nutshell profiles, shiny crystallized dewdrops and porcelain, along with a few pinky and blue Mexican skulls she picked up herself in Arizona. Some plumper, richer shapes like aurous pomegranates and stones balance a very airy, light and pearly collection, bathed in watery glazing and definitely, wonderfully feminine.

You can visit Sonia Boyajian at her showroom up until March 7: 22, rue des Coutures Saint Gervais 75003 Paris.
