Dear Shaded Viewers,
Heikki Salonen presented a series of sharp and inspiring looks during Paris Menswear, offering womenswear pieces as well. Salonen had Sumatra and punk rockers in mind when designing the collection. The tailoring was precise and beautifully made. I loved his use of animal print, which felt more graphic than baroque. The Finnish designer -who's also in charge of Diesel womenswear- has great potential and a distinctive style.

Best,
Philippe
