Dear Shaded Viewers,
Decades ago I lived in NYC and Mario was a jewelry designer and did accessories for my collections. He lived in NYC for more than 22 years and then moved back to Foligna, Italy.
His spider was inspired by me. I loved how he says people are either fascinated or repelled by the spider. I can relate to that.
Mario showed his lights for the ASVOFF LIGHT series with Vogue.it at Palazzo Morando in Milan last Spring. I love the lights but I’d missed his jewels while he took his ten year hiatus. Glad they are back.
