Dear Shaded Viewers,
The weather in Florence has been wet and windy and today we kept worrying that there would be a problem for the Jil Sander presentation at the VIlla Gamberaia in Settignano. Like a blessing from the skies, the rain stopped, the show went on and just as the finale came out the rain began to fall. The show was refreshing, clean, pure and upbeat. I especially liked the reflector bands on the back of the jackets and the slim and easy shapes. Everyone was also talking about the colored soles of the shoes. The lights went directly into my camera so what you see is mainly the silhouettes. After the show there was a dinner for the 500+ invited guests.
