Dear Shaded Viewers,

Alexander Wang put on a strong, confident show, combining two key themes coming out of NYFW: sexy tailoring and bohemian gestures. Inspired by Wall Street bankers and gypsy thieves, Wang mixed strict, menswear-inspired elements with touchy-feely fabrics, such as velvet and chenille. Yes, chenille is back!

There was quite a bit of flesh on display, with cropped jackets and cut-outs adding serious sex-appeal to the clothes. Wang is no longer a "young designer" and this collection proved he has maturity and an innate understanding of what women want to wear. Diane, think we found some new shades for you next season:

All the models got in the mood and Sonny caught Iris doing her rock star moves for us. Very Ziggy with those boots on!

Best,
