Damien Hirst's New Religion series are large enough for a double bed. The 100% cashmere blankets are made in Scotland on a Jacquard loom and finished by hand. Each has a purled fringe and 2 New Religion labels. Using techniques to those used 150 years ago, fabric and color are built up in layers and with the use of soft, pure Scottish water the cloth is woven and the finishing involves air-drying and paper pressing to ensure the lustre.
