KID* bar restaurant – *it is not related to children
In Riga you can eat a lot, you can eat well, you can also eat creatively. KID* is a new concept of bar restaurant invented by creative director Damien Carlier, the organizer of [moment] event. It has the partcularity to attract any kind of customers, younger and older, hurried people or those who want to take time. It is primarly a salad bar where you can pick the ingredients yourself. It also serves warm dishes. Interiors are a mix of art works, a good selection of design pieces and some scavenged pieces of furniture. The concept is so successful that 3 of these KID* restaurants have now opened their doors in Riga. And there is a high potential it could also happen abroad as the mix between accessible price, variety, quality and freshness of food, a good art direction makes the place as well singular as federative.
This wall paper has been made by sound and visual artist Arturas Bumsteinas. It was inspired by the thriller The Silence of the Lambs.
