SEOUL FASHION WEEK – LIE SANG BONG FALL WINTER 2014/15 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Lie Sang Bong was in a structured and sharper mood this season, favoring clear lines, geometric accents and contrasting volumes. I really liked his use of red and black, which looked fresh on coats and jackets. Being one of Korea's most famous and established designers does not prevent him from experimenting and having fun, which is probably the reason why he has remained so popular. He pushed the envelope with prints this time, which gave elegant shapes a hint of eccentricity. Keeping his love of drama for eveningwear, he also showed beautiful gowns, which gave some welcome creative edge to occasion wear.

Best,

Philippe
